Day 5

Today I made a difference by helping my Dad carry all of his work stuff inside from his car. I know I made a difference because I could tell that he'd had a long tiring day at work and he also said "thank you" to me as we walked in the door. I felt good because I did something nice and I know he appreciated my help.

Day 4

Today I made a difference by tidying up our lounge when it was a mess. I know I made a difference because my Mum and Dad were busy doing other things and didn't have time to clean it up but when I told my Dad I had tidied it he was surprised and thankful because if I hadn't done it he or Mum would have had to. It made me feel good when I had done it because I know it helps my parents have one less thing to do.

Day 3

Today I made a difference by helping my Mum do the washing. I know I made a difference because afterwards my Mum thanked me, and I could tell she was relieved to have some of the load taken off her shoulders as she was quite busy doing work. It made me feel happy because I had done something to help.

Day 2

Today I spent a few hours helping set up for a garage sale at my church. I know I made a difference because the man organising it seemed very grateful to have an extra hand. Afterwards I felt tired but at the same time pleased that I had done something to help the church.
